then discovered Goodreads clearly is where the bookworms are! 🤓
I am a Goodreads Librarian.
Goodreads was acquired by Amazon and still pretty happy with the experience.
I use the messaging interface there for book talk & invite friends to use "book progress" as a way to pace our communication (otherwise we would never get back to reading! :) An asynchronous book circle of sorts.
