in the context of dance:
Icebreaker randomly pairs people in a series of short 1-on-1 video calls. Imagine an evening going from one partner to the next on the dance floor and how it feels to dance with different partners. Icebreaker provides conversation prompts to help guide the way or you’re free to go with the flow wherever you want - think of it like creating a dance with your partner prompted by music. You chat for 5-7 minutes and, if you decide to stay, each of you are paired with someone new.

Change Requests
- Requested
- Action button - request to implement a configurable “call to action” button
- optional tabbed side bar
- Ability to edit event, participate in chat if device does not have a camera
- organizers can specify hosts without having to wait for them to join. our goal is to have all the details of the event setup (like setting up a room) before getting hosts involved as their time is precious.
- Not requested
- instant message hosts during an event (in particular to report safety concerns in private so hosts can remove participant(s) from event if necessary)
- Event Designer - back-end interface that allows for a team-centric event design process
- “Have another dance” - ability to request for a “rematch” with current partner (could be disabled by host)
- ambient background music - music for the whole space. hosts DJ and music remains softly in the background during the matchups.
- place matchup chat underneath video so people who want to share links, exchange info on the spot, etc.
