Loom is great for screencasts (overkill for only voice)
Loom allows you to share screencasts compared the the multi-step process of uploading to YouTube Studio.
You are technically less likely to not have audio due to the request to “broadcast” (you can check the mic is on) whereas the built-in screen recorder, the mic flips off on its own.
Loom is quite usable without a subscription or up-front cost (free version only lets you save 25 looms/videos after 2 week trial ends)
Loom appears to be one of those companies that starts you on a pro trial without telling you 🤨
